First of all, I would like to thank you for viewing my blog. I hope you find the content easy to read, easy to understand, and easy to apply to your daily routines. I am a private trainer based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma and my name is Trevor.
I believe making big changes begins with choosing to make great, daily decisions. There is no magic pill, no magic exercise, no quantum leap that is going to get you where you want to be, despite what the media tells you. There is hard work, little, consistent, daily decisions, and good road map that will get you to your goals. The best way to ensure your success is to be informed, well-rounded, and dedicated to your plan.
How do you know if your plan is good though? How do you know that you’re pointing your ship in the right direction? Not ruining your joints in the long-term for a better beach body in the short-term? Can you guarantee that your plan is going to cover all these things in the hour, maybe two, that you get to spend at your training facility? You want to look better, but you want to feel better. You want to be able to move around, play sports, hike, ride bikes, motocross, resistance train, chase your kids, breakdance, or simply live your day-to-day life pain free and feeling good about yourself and your body!
Here is where I can help you. I hold a BS in Health and Exercise Science, I have a USAW Level 1 Sports Performance Coach certification, my Level 1 Crossfit certification, I’ve been training other people since 2011. All of that to say, I have more experience than the average bear and I always approach fitness and training with a science-based perspective, proven by either my own experiences or research done by other professionals. None of these should impress you though, because we all know that paper is just paper, how we apply our education is where we prove our worth.
With all this in mind, I created this blog to help keep me accountable in my pursuit to be the best fitness professional possible and to help others. The only sensible way, in my head, to prove that I am worth your time is by creating articles that scratch the service of the 15+ years I have been training and learning how to unlock the full potential of the human body. Leaving a legacy and helping out my community is also a very present desire in my life, what better way to help people then to arm them with good, quality information!? In essence, I want to better myself, while simultaneously educating and encouraging those who wish to reach their utmost potential!
Looking forward to the journey ahead, hope you join me!
